I think it happened when I was uninstalling Arcsoft software for an old TV usb tuner that I never use anymore, and I answered "Yes to all" when it asked about removing some dlls.
I have tried running the links others suggested but get a Win32 error.

I have a question regarding the HP Smart Array P410 that's comes shipped in the HP Proliant DL 180 G6. It is stated in the specs that it can handle 8 sata disks, but the case itself has twelve hotswap bays. Both the raid controller and FreeNAS (a linux distribution) can see and use all twelve disks. Thus my question is: What does the 8x sata mean then?

I built a Z800 system from bits on e-bay last year and successfully installed windows 10
I downloaded all the latest drivers and built a RAID5 array fron 4 x 1.5G disks, plus an SSD for system disk
All has worked fine until now.
Noticed that array was running very slow - so checked boot up messages - Array status VERIFY in yellow.
Moved all my date onto a USB disk, so array is now empty.
Cannot find any way to check/test integrity of array :-(
Installed the older version of the Intel driver - 13.6.2.1001 in desperation
Rebooted the machine and BIOS now reports NORMAL
Have run disk utilities and no problems found
What is going on ?
Is there any way of monitoring the array status etc from within windows and verifying it ?

I have 4 10tb exos SATA hard drives.
I want to put those in raid 1+0 on the onboard LSI Mustang SAS Raid controller of the hp Z820.
I noticed the notes on this controller that came in the documentation for this z820, say an array of <2TB isn't supported on this controller.
#1 - Can I connect 4 SATA hard drives to this motherboard integrated LSI mustang SAS controller (is there a list of valid hdd for it somewhere you can point me to?).
Or do I need to buy a RAID card that supports 6gb/s for 4 or more SATA HDD's instead?
#2- Can I build a raid 1 + 0 RAID array >2tb on this LSI Mustang Raid controller. (in my case it would be 20tb usable raid array, or technically 40tb array).
I want to update the BIOS of my Z400 into the latest version
Please advice on how to and provide links where I can download the latest version

I was wondering what is the correct BIOS settings for HP z4 G4 workstation with Windows 7 x64. I followed the instructions in the link below, and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7, but once the PC reboot it get stuck during boot up at the Windows logo.

In the data-sheets I found only MTTF for Hard Disk. I woulk like to find also the MTTF of the power supply or, better, MTTF of the workstation.

Somehow I cant figure out how to get Num Lock auto enabled on a Thin Client T630.
On other Thin Client device types like a T620 I get Num Lock auto enabled when I turn-on the function in the BIOS.
However, its not working probably on a T630.
It goes on at startup (logon screen) but when we arrive on the desktop (user interface) numlock turns off.
I also tried the following tricks in registry:
"Next, expand the “HKEY_USERS” folder. You’ll now need to repeat the above process several times, changing the InitialKeyboardIndicators value under each folder inside the HKEY_USERS folder.
Start by going to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard, and changing the InitialKeyboardIndicators value to 2. Next, repeat the process for the folder below the .DEFAULT folder–it’ll start with an “S-“.
Repeat this process for the remaining folders inside HKEY_USERS, changing the Control Panel\Keyboard\InitialKeyboardIndicators setting under each one."
But its still not working.
I have no clue what to do next.

So I have an HP z620. I just set up and it is awesome except for...
It seems I can't have PCI 3.0 and Intel Turbo boost enable at the same time. This is horrible. There has got to be away around....
I am unable to get the full power of the gtx 1050ti. I have Pci performance mode disable and now it says my graphics card are operating in gen 2 pci now. This would be all right iff I could overclock the Intel Xeon E5 2690's with software, but I can't!.... There has got to be a work around... Dose anybody have any ideas?
UPDATE
Apparently I have to manually enable PCI3, but I would still like to know exactly what PCI performance mode is and why I can not have Intel Turbo boost enabled with it; because I specifaclly got the e5 2690 for that function for lack of overcloking. There are other processors with higher base max cloxk speeds I could have used.

To enable HP True Graphics for multiple monitors on the HP t620:
1. Restart the thin client and press F10 to access the BIOS.
2. Select Advanced ► Integrated Graphics.
3. Set Integrated Graphics to Force.
4. Set UMA Frame Buffer Size to 1G
I have to deploy above BIOS settings to around 600 thin clients (t620 Win10IOT) via HPDM remotely ?

I've been having unscheduled reboots every 1-5 days since mid-March on my HP Z620 since updating my BIOS to what I think was the fix for Spectre/Meltdown. Prior to the BIOS patch, I hadn't had any issues in about a year.
I've narrowed down the error to ntoskrnl.exe. Prior to 4/14 the Critical Events would occasionally list an IAStorDataSvc - stopped working - critical error (sometimes not specified). I reinstalled Intel RSTe and didn't see that error again. After 4/14 I've got one critical event for Windows Indexing service, but nothing specific other than that, only "Windows was not properly shut down". I have run comprehensive memory scans from BIOS, Windows, I've downloaded RAM scanning apps and in total have performed 5+ full scans with no issues found there.
My Setup: HP Z620 - 64 GB RAM - 5 physical network ports 5 virtual - Most of the time I run (4) Security Onion VMs in VMWare Workstation 14.1.1, 3 sensor VMs and one master Onion VM. I sometimes serve FTP, etc. across 3 internal networks. The Security Onion doesn't note anything too odd, and I actively block any /16 that tries to attack me. Nothing on this hardware is port-forwarded, I have in the past but now I use a proxy Win10 VM on another machine for my web-facing server. I might note that I get half or more of my crashes in the mornings (7-9am PST), but also during other hours as well. Hibernate and any other power options are turned off so no power savings anything (or in BIOS).
I've included the crash report, not even sure what I'm looking for. I reinstalled Windows 10 professional on April 1 thinking that would fix it, but it hasn't.
Anybody got any ideas?
OK so I have a bunch of DL585 (G4 and G5) servers we just pulled down and they all have opteron 83xx and 84xx chips in em -- What I'm wondering is: I also have a bunch of XW9400's that we also pulled down -- I'd like to part out the servers but re-use the CPU's from them in the xw9400's before I give them away (vets ONLY)
Since the voltages/fsb/socket are all the same ... will the 83xx and 84xx opterons work in the xw 9400's? _ I dont mind hacking the bios if need be (all are up to the latest stock bios at the moment )

I will like help to know were to find the BIOS options to enable TPM and Intel PTT in my Z230 Desktop machine.
I am unable to locate these options.
The TPM version in the machine is 1.5 and I need v2.0 or enable "Intel PTT"
The machine is Intel XENON.

Per my research "Embedded Security Device" refer to TPM, but I need to configure also Intel PTT .
Currently the machine have W7, but per a particular requirement I need to enable Intel PTT, but I am unable to locate it with that name.

I have new Z4 G4 workstations, I am trying to install win 7 Pro instead of preinstalled win 10 but it did notreognize the USB driver.
