I have not yet purchased the Z240 SSF computer (pending). I would like to know if it is possible to install two (2) identical 256GB SSD SATA (not Z Turbo) Solid State Hard Drives and configure them as a single RAID-1 Bootable C: Drive using the BIOS setup. We are considering this configuration ( 2 x SSD SATA ) because we were told that two (2) Z-TURBO SSD cannot be configured as a RAID-1 Bootable C: Drive. I have searched but cannot find anything that specifically states that Solid State SATA Drives can or cannot be configred as Bootable RAID-1 C: Drive using BIOS. If there is document, then please provide a URL. I have downlodded the Z240 Maintenance Manual and it does not mention Solid State SATA anywhere. Do Solid State SATA Drives need a Windows Driver like the Z-Turbo SSD does? If true then that is a problem.
