Key board and mouse act slow or unresponsive. This occurred right after initial set up of my Windows. Any ideas anyone? This problem occurs intermittent times or sometimes its fine and sometimes it's unbearable. This computer is operating on Windows 10 Professional.

Problem with T630
Hello.
I've recently bought a T630 thin client. When it arrived I can't see anything on my display.
Tried DP to HDMI adapter or DP to VGA and it doesn't work. Also tried different cables/screen etc and no result.
When I press a power button it's flashing but LED next to it isn't. I can't hear any beeps etc.
Tried to replace a BIOS battery/reset CMOS but no result (I found it on your troubleshooting online pages)
Is it a motherboard fault and I should return it to the shop where I bought it from?
Thank you for any help.

Hp xw8600 work station issue
Hi all, looking for help, suggestions or advice on what's going wrong with my pc. I bought it off a friend. With Windows 10 installed and activated on the system. Around a day ago now I was watching a movie and the whole system crashed. It shut itself down so Immediately turned it back on. When I turn it on it shows a blank screen with a cursor and a long list of ports e.g. port-00. Also showing white patches and lines all over the screen. I am able to run it in safe mode and I have tried resetting but I still get the same error (your pc has ran into an issue).

Softpaq Update SP99330 Fails
I attempted to install Softpaq SP99330 on my HP Z2 Mini G4 which I downloaded using the Image Assistant. However the install failed attempting to update the Intel Management Engine Components with a message that another version of this product is already installed. The current version I have is 1915.12.0.1267. It is attempting to update to v1932.12.0.1298. Do I need to uninstall the old one first? Normally that has been done automatically.

HP Z800 Dual booting
hi all,
i need some advice, more of a general Linux question than Z800 though. i havedual booting on two of my laptops (Fedora/Win and Debian/Win) so i am fairly familiar with the set up process, i.e. Windows goes first, Linux comes after etc etc.
on my Z800, i am running Red Hat on a 40GB Intel SSD but i like to also install Windows 10 oPro on one of the other internal spinning hard drives. i know as soon as i installed the Windows it will mess up the Grub and i can't boot into linux etc. i have had this problem before and spent days fixing what i broke, almost always ended up reinstalling the Linux. is there a correct and clean way to install Windows on a second HDD after Linux is installed. ideally without loosing the Grub. or how do i recreate the Grub in a tidy manner afterwards?
i collect vintage IBM (and Apple) laptops and computers as hobby, and occupationally need to burn retro bootable OS CD or clone old IDE hard dives to put into another system hence i like to have a Windows on my desktop, using the built in CD burner to do retro stuffs.
cheers
256GB of RAM is Possible in z420
So I'm just posting to complete what this poster started a few months ago regarding memory upgrades:
I have been able to install 32 x8 LRDIMM modules for a total of 256GB of RAM. 🙂 The modules I used are the following:
hp 712384-081
samsung m386b4g70dm0-cma4qm
32gb 4rx4 pc3-14900L-13-12-c0
Other modules may work. I was able to run at max ram speeds of 1333 since that is the max my processor (E5-2630L) can do. I believe speeds would be faster with the processors that can handle 1600Mhz. This is faster than the clocking down that may happen with 32GB RDIMM modules.
Cooling may be an issue however as I ran into memtest errors after about an hour. Even though I keep all the fans floored by setting the bios fan idle to the highest setting, the modules in the sockets between the processor and drive cages was too hot to touch while the cpu and other modules were fine. I’ve added another fan to make it pass the memory test. I’m not sure if I will need it in normal use.

Custom HP Z420 Gaming Rig
I am planning to develop a custom rig based on HP Z420 motheroboard cause I have supported Xeon and ecc ram laying around. Now HP Z420 requires propritary power unit so a conversion to ATA power supply can be easily done by using the conversion cable. However, HP Z420 requires a temperature sensor to be connected to the motherboard. So instead of purchasing one we can make one using the following bullitin:
I would like to know what is the connector end of the sensor wire that is attached to the motherboard called? The female end to which sensor power and speaker cables are attached. Because I just wanna buy that connector and attach the transister to bypass the beeps that result when there is no thermal sensor present.
Bad Service
Hi does anyone have a telephone number for HP that does not involve a call centre that has no authority to replace a unit?
I have a broken PC (which a IT expert checked over and said the hard drive had gone) it was purchased September, we've been given the runaround for over two weeks by call centres, has anyone else had the same problem?
HP Z420 - Making Thermal Sensor
I am making thermal sensor by using the transister for HP Z420 as shown in this bullitin
need help in identifying the name of the connector that connects to the HP motherboard. Is the connector type is generic or proprietary?
Issue with hpuefi-mod on Z2 G4
Hi,
I'm running RHEL 7.5 WS on Z240 and Z2 G4, same master used (kernel .3.10.0-862.14.4)
With Z240, I regularly use hp-flash/hpuefi-mod to manage BIOS FW and setup.
On Z2 G4, I'm unable to install hpuefi-mod, whatever the release tried (3.0-1, 3.01-1, 3.02-1) :
...
Running transaction
Installing : hpuefi-mod-3.02-1.x86_64
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'hpuefi': Required key not available

...
And then, unable to load the module, and no device "/dev/hpuefi" as attended :
# /opt/hp/hp-flash/hp-repsetup
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'hpuefi': Required key not available
ERROR: Could not load module hpuefi

Windows 10 ver 1909 failing on Z640
I have a Z640 workstation with 2 CPUs that is currently running Windows 10 Pro ver 1809 with no issues that I know of.
The Windows Update screen gave me the option to download and install 1909 which I did. On the final reboot of the update the system choked and displayed an error screen with the following:
930-Internal CPU Failure.
Uncore IVR Fault, Please call HP Support
930-Internal CPU Failure.
Uncore IVR Fault. Please call HP Support.
Press ENTER to continue
After pressing enter I got a screen that said it was rolling back the update followed by a reboot. After the reboot I was back at version 1809 and everything seems fine again.
I looked at this page:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05195282
which appears to show that version 1909 is supported on the Z640 so I'm not sure what's going on here. Any help would be appreciated.
