I am facing the same issue with HP Z600 workstation. I purchase new hard drive of seagate1TB barracuda in place of Seagate 320 GB.
After installing restore plus pack windows 764 bit at last I got, windows setup could not configure to run on this computer's hardware" error during windows 7.
Please help me what should I do, is that get every time while installing restore pack.
HP Z230 Has an 2234-HECI error during initialization . i tried the jumpers but the jumpers on this motherboard aren't the same.

For the past few months, I have been unable to log into HP Support Case Manager:
This has left our team with only one user capable of submitting cases to HP Support. Previous calls for help have only resulted in me receiving invitations to join HP Support, leading to the exact same error.

Today y made a BIOS Update in windows 7 (64) from 3.06 to 3.90.
The Update Process freeze at end and only Power Cycle possible (Waited 15min.)
Now when power Up only noise from Fan and Black Screen.
CD rom blink (like he search somthing)
Called HP Support... and what Surprise... Support ended 1 month before...
I asked for Help in Bios Crisis Recovery procedure...
And the nice woman told me that only can buy a New Motherboard.
Can anybody Help Me Please ? Is there really no recovery procedure ?

The PSU has failed on the WS and it is no longer supplied by HP and it does not appear to be a standard ATX PSU - all the wire on the main m/b connector are black.
The original PSU has the following-
DPS 600 UB
Spare p/n 632911-001
Can I use a standard PSU as a replacement?

After exiting the BIOS configuration system, the workstation reboots automatically. When the workstation has rebooted, the USB attached keyboard does not work, even though it had been used just prior to the reboot. The mouse is still OK. After another (manual) reboot, the mouse and keyboard work as normal.
This has happened on several workstations, so not an isolated fault.

Current build to replace
-HP Z420 Xeon E5-1620 3.6, 16 gig ram, AMD Firepro W7000, win 7
These machines have been really good , looking to buy something to replace them and struggling to find a fast single threaded processor to upgrade, Dassault certified/tested builds with HP Z4G4 is fairly thin for choice of processor.
Any suggestions?

Hello, I need to enable Wake On LAN for a fleet of 800 G2 ELitedesks.
I went into BIOS>Advanced>Built-In Device Options. I ensured that Embedded LAN Controller was checked and Wake On LAN set to Boot to Hard Drive (I'll later be doing PXE boot but want to start out making sure this works.)
I also went into Advanced>Power Management Options. I unchecked S5 Maximum Power Savings, and SATA Power Management. I checked PCI Express Power Management.
In Windows 10, I went to Device Manager, I right clicked on the properties of the NIC adapter, I went to the Power Management tab I checked all three boxes (Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, Allow this device to wake the computer and Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer.) I also enabled Wake on Magic Packet in the Advanced tab.
I sent a magic packet to the MAC address using wol.exe utility but the PC will not power up.
What am I missing?

Our company recently brought a HP workstation. However the keyboard that is supplied is too small for our hands. This is really annoying when other keys are accidentally hit when typing.
My hands are a normal size, so who decided to supply useless key boards that are not suitable for our hands.
Can HP address this issue please.

I'm having trouble reconciling some BIOS updates and/or patches for the Intel Vulnerabilities SA-00086 and SA-00141 on my HPZ440 Workstation. Can someone point me in the right direction? It looks like there is a more recent updated BIOS than I have to version 2.48, most recently updated 5/13/2019, does that also address the Intel vulnerabilities or do I need to install sp90102.exe for SA-00141 and another for the SA-00086?
I haven’t tried it out yet. I want to give it a try though. If the problem is because how the .Net 4.8 is being installed in 1903, then cleaning up all the runtimes and installing a separate .Net 4.8 package should fix it in 1903. The tool is supposed to uninstall all .Net runtimes, remove all registry entries returning windows to a clean version. There is also a diagnosis tool, not sure if it would be helpful or not.
My offices have Dell & HP Workstations (not consumer lines). The Dell units have an app named Dell Command update that alerts driver updates & allows us to manually install them when desired. It's my understanding that HP Softpaq used to do this for HP workstations yet HP's client management page here indicates that was discontinued in July.

I'm currently on 4.7 SP5 looking after around 3000 Global Thin Clients, mostly T630's
One server running the Gateway, master repository, using child repository at local sites.
I can't seem to find any information on upgrading from my current version to 5.0, can I do it? Will I need to install the latest SP's first? Is there a best method of backing things up? I have around 30 First contact rules, 50+ Scheduled rules and around the same tasks.
Would really appreciate some guidance as the current build is starting to cause some problems and we're facing a large scale deployment soon. Thanks in advance!
