hp lp 3065 turning off

hi,

recently i have some problem  with my hp lp 3065 monitor, when i start some application ( nvidia xperience, msi combustor ecc) my monitor turns off.... i hear the noise that the pc make like when you unplug something like for expale a usb drive. Then i have to disconnect and reconnect the dvi cable and the picture shows again. i solved this problem once but i dont remember how!? guys please help
