T420 Zero Client discovery using SNMP?

Good afternoon. We just deployed about 200 T420 Zero Clients and since doing so, we've lost a major benefit of our SNMP management platform - port level details about connected end devices. In the past, we were able to collect these via WMI but now that we're on thin clients, we've lost a lot of our automatic mapping capability. Does anyone know if there is a way to enable SNMP on the zero client? We only need read only support, but something to discover basic info like hostname, location, interfaces, etc.
