Z440 shutdown issue

Greetings!

All of the Z440s my client has get stuck during shutdown process more or less randomly. I've only once managed to replicate the issue myself when I didn't expect it and I wasn't able to get much out of it. On that specific occurrence that Z440 got stuck on "logging out" -phase. Event logs don't show any errors, loops or warnings other than the "unexptected shutdown" when the power is forcibly turned off.

Windows Performance Analyzer hasn't helped since the issue doesn't happen regularly and the end users aren't willing to use it systematically.

I've ran the HP hardware diagnostic UEFI tests on couple of the Z440s and the results were: Everything OK.

I've also disabled couple services like Adobe and Google automatic updates, but that hasn't helped. WPA required page file to be disabled.

All of the Z440s have the Windows 7 64bit that came pre-installed with them. Clean re-install isn't really an option as it's likely going to disrupt their work for a minor issue.

All of them are Domain joined.

How should I proceed?
