Hi there,
We have an intimittent problem with a couple of the EliteOne 800 G2 machines that we recently bought.
The machines are running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit, and are booting from a local 500GB hard disk.
I have installed all the Windows 7 drivers from the HP website and was able to install our windows 7 image once the drivers where installed.
However I find that there is a problem getting the machine to wake up from sleep mode, in that nothing I do will get the machine to wake up, not a keypress, or mouse movement or even holding down the power button.
Once it gets into this state the only way I have found to get it to respond again is to pull the power cord and re-connect. The machine will then boot but complains that it can't read the hibernation file and does a normal boot.
I did find the setting in the bios for waking on a keypress and checked it which improved things a little, it doesn't crash every time now, just some of the time. It seems worst when it has been asleep for a couple of hours.
The other odd thing I found related to this is that I had to switch off AMT in the bios or the machine would just wake straight back up again.
Other things changed in the Bios :
Secure boot disabled, legacy boot enabled, virtual machine settings enabled, bios administrator password set.
Cheers.
Phill.
