Hey,
so I accidentally put 12800E ram and 12800U Ram into my motherboard together, i didn't know what the letters meant and thought it was okay to mix them, later I found out that its not. So no matter which stick I put in now, whenever I press the power button the LED blinks red and beeps 5 times before a 2-3 second pause. I looked this up in the diagnostic manual and it says its a RAM issue. I don't mind purchasing new ram but i'm not sure if my motherboard has gone bad or not.
Is the problem just the RAM sticks or do i have to replace the entire motherboard? The 12800E stick was working before but now its not. When i put it in alone the power button still beeps 5 times. So I'm not sure if that stick has gone bad or its the motherboards issue. Either way, if someone could let me know that'd be fantastic
