HP Z Turbo Drv Quad Pro and z840

Good morning everyone,

I need to change the HP Z drive (G1 and boot) + several Data SATA-SSDs with a single card solution.

I want to get rid of the bottleneck of the SATA controller.

My attension for my z840 is the HP Z Turbo Drv Quad Pro. But I have some questions I can't find in the FAQs. Maybe a HP technican can answer me those please:

- are the 4 modules configurable as seperat drives in Windows? For example: 4 modules -> C:\ (boot) D:\ (data) E:\ (raid 0 with 2 modules)

- do I need the HP M.2-SSDs or can I exchange them to Samsung 960 PROs?
