Having an annoying problem with my XW6400 which has decided to stop booting this morning.
I had this problem previously and fixed it with a BIOS software upgrade and using the Crisis Jumper on the motherboard.
The system powers up and then displays the HP Workstation blue screen for only a fration of a second before going blank. I have tried resetting the CMOS via the motherboard button and then the system goes through its discovery of the elements to recreate the BIOS. It identifies the Hard Disks etc but when it comes to the end and prompts with F1 to save configuration I am back to the same problem. Pressing F10 for setup has no effect either.
I have tried all the usual things like removing the memory and replacing, removing all additional cards except the display card but nothing has helped
Anybody out there faced a similar issue and successfully solved it?
