No video output using DP-to-DVI converter, HP TS740

Hi guys,

I hope you can help me here, i have search through the web for quite some time now regarding this issue.

I have a HP Thin Client TS740, which when connecting a DP-to-DVI converter, a DVI cable and my monitor gives no video output.

If I connect to my monitor using VGA or DP i get a crips video signal.

An easy fix could be: simply use DP, but as this client is used in a production environment, on a special setup, this will have to work.

The setup is as follows: Two HP TS740 connect to one monitor using a blackbox servswitch. Both TC's connect via DP-to-DVI converters and DVI kables. The monitor connects to the blackbox servswitch via DVI.

Client 1 shows an image, using both cables+DP-to-DVI converters.

Client 2 shows no image using either of the cables and converters.

Do you have any clues as what to look for? I have checked the resolution and the video card settings, and this should be fine on client 2.

You help is much appriciated!
