Hi, I have a HP Compaq Elite 8300 tower (16GB RAM, Intel Q77 Express, Core i7 (Ivy Bridge) into which I've fitted two SSDs in RAID0 (after upgrading the BIOS to the latest version). The use case is for a development environment using multiple virtual machines running in parallel. I have the latest version of the Intel tools installed on a fresh Win7 Pro install using the OEM sticker's key not the SLP key.
I have two other large capacity non-SSD disks which I can use for data stores that don't need to be on the SSD but before I fit them, I want to know if this applies:

In other words, will it preserve the RAID array on the SSDs while mounting the two spinny HDDs as additional drives?
A slightly unrelated question - are there any automatic upgrade rights to Windows 10 with this machine? I've read elsewhere that since the Anniversary update, Windows 10 will activate quite happily if Windows 7 has been activated although it isn't clear if the machine needed to be SLP activated or OEM key activated.
I don't plan on upgrading this machine to Windows 10 yet, but perhaps there are tangible benefits for doing it if using SSD RAID.
